Shah rukh khan - Superstar of the year 2011
Undoubtedly the Superstar of the year 2011 is Shah rukh khan. TWO movies of his were released during this year which had grossed more than 450 cr. Money does not merely makes him the superstar but the quality which he had delievered through his films was never experienced by indian cinema, made him different. His both movies were different from the movies which the bollywood delievers. Shah rukh khan is always been known for romantic films but he now proved he also best suited for action films too.
The first movie of shah rukh khan released during the year was ra.one. It was the risky project of bollywood ever and also it was the dream project of shah rukh khan. Ra.one was totally different and world class movie. But unfortunately some class of audiences doesn't able to understand it. Honestly there was very much negative response from indian audiences. New things always takes time to get adapted. If it was other actor's movie it would have crashed on 3rd or 4th day of it's release. But shah rukh khan's charm, power , acting made the film to cross 100 cr club in india and worldwide it grossed 240 cr ( highest grosser of the year )
After ra.one the second release of shah rukh khan's was the sequel of don i.e Don 2. Shah rukh khan's acting in the movie was the epic performance of the year. The audience accepted and appreciated the movie very much. His acting was outstanding and loved by everyone. Don 2 movie had recently crossed 100 cr net figure in india and worldwide grossed more than 215cr and still to come more. His look, long hair, intelligence , superb performance , dialogues more added in his favour to be called as superstar of the year 2011.
